RCVC: RSU-Aided Cluster-Based Vehicular Clouds Architecture for Urban Areas

As a promising topic of research, Vehicular Cloud (VC) incorporates cloud computing and ad-hoc vehicular network (VANET). In VC, supplier vehicles provide their services to consumer in real-time. These have significant impact on the applications internet access, storage data. Due high-speed mobility vehicles, users need mechanism discover vicinity. Besides this, quality service varies from one vehicle another; thus, attempt pick out most appropriate services. this paper, we propose novel protocol named RSU-aided Cluster-based Clouds (RCVC), which constructs VC using Road Side Unit (RSU) directory Cluster Head (CH) make resources more visible. While clusters that move same road form mobile cloud, remaining different side unit. Furthermore, consumption operation is achieved via selection method, managed by CHs RSUs based mathematical model select best Simulation results prove effectiveness our terms discovery end-to-end delay, where delay 3 × 10?3 s 13 10?2 s, respectively. Moreover, carried an experimental comparison, revealing proposed method outperformed several states art protocols.
